Central University Entrance Test (CUET) – Your Gateway to securing admission in Top Central / State Universities across India!

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a National Level Entrance examination and a gateway for admission to undergraduate courses in various Central /State /Deemed / Private universities of India including Delhi University, BHU, Allahabad University, etc.

It has been observed for the last few years that many students were unable to secure admissions to top-tier Central & State Universities due to staggering Cut Off Marks required in Class XII Board examinations. This has profusely prohibited a major faction of students from joining their desirous Undergraduate Courses. To overcome this predicament and to award students with a more equal opportunity, the CUET Exam has been introduced. The primary goal of this exam is to create a fair platform that promotes equal opportunities to all students across India, irrespective of their XII Board Exam Marks, gender, and religion. However, a minimum threshold of 50% marks will be required for Unreserved Category students to sit for this exam. Candidates who have passed the 12th standard and interested in getting admission to one of the Central & State Universities in India can appear for the CUET exam.

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) provides a common platform along with equal opportunities to candidates across the country seeking admission to a wide array of courses. CUET is of utmost significance for students from rural and remote areas as it helps them establish better connections with top Central & State Universities while also shortlisting top colleges in these Universities. A single examination enables Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to various Universities. Recent registrations show that CUET is the second most sought-after entrance exam in the Country after NEET!

Undergraduate Grants Commission (UGC) will conduct the CUET exam through NTA in a computer-based mode in the first & second week of July 2022 for all the participating universities.
